What has India done to get into the geopolitical spotlight?

India, the most powerful nation in South Asia, and a country that stands with the fifth highest GDP in the world. India has the fourth most powerful army in the world, and has the third strongest air force in the world.

Despite having around 45 trillion dollars being stripped from India during the British raj, India has exceeded its previous ruler and is at soaring heights. India is the fastest growing economy in the world, more and more countries are seeding money into India such as Saudi Arabia, because of the monetary opportunities that India holds.

India has recently been set to acquire predator drones from the United States of America, and also prime minster modi has made a visit to the USA to meet some of the greats who will be also investing into India, such as Elon Musk who will be standing with Modi in order to create a more eco friendly India and a more technologically advanced India. India's GDP currently sits at 3.5 trillion USD, making it way higher than Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka combined GDP.

India is the first country to make it to mars on the first try, India used just 73 million dollars to get to mars and it is by far the most least expensive mars mission. India however has some problems, its high population is its biggest asset and biggest downfall. The government has to feed 1.4 billion people, give them electricity, a place to live, an education.

This puts the gulf of the rich and the poor very high. The rich are extremely wealthy with money people can barely fathom, but the poorest person in India has to work day and night just to get a piece of bread. However India's HDI is looking promising, as GDP is increasing so will that correspond to the HDI increasing. India by 2050 will be a fully developed country and be one of the most powerful nations in the world. And even now it stands as a world superpower. India has the potential to become the most powerful nation in the east. Bharat Mata Ki Jai (Hail mother India).
